Cancellation Policy
At KAMATLUX LIGHTING PVT LTD, many of our chandeliers and decorative lighting products are customized, bespoke or made-to-order according to individual customer requirements. Because production may involve dedicated materials, components, design work and manufacturing resources, we maintain this Cancellation Policy to provide clarity regarding order cancellations and modifications.
Customers are strongly advised to review and confirm all product specifications, dimensions, finish, crystal type, quantity, delivery details and other requirements before placing an order.
Order Confirmation
An order is considered confirmed once the required order details have been finalized and the applicable payment or advance has been received and accepted by KAMATLUX LIGHTING.
After confirmation, our team may begin planning production, arranging materials, preparing components and scheduling manufacturing according to the approved order specifications.
Customers should carefully verify the following before confirming an order:
Product design and specifications.
Dimensions and measurements.
Finish and colour.
Crystal or decorative material selection.
Lighting configuration.
Quantity.
Delivery address.
Contact details.
Installation requirements.
Any other customized requirements.
Cancellation Before Production Begins
Customers may request cancellation before production or customization has commenced.
All cancellation requests are subject to review and approval by KAMATLUX LIGHTING.
Where cancellation is approved before production begins, any applicable deductions may include administrative costs, material commitments, processing charges or other expenses already incurred in connection with the order.
Cancellation is not considered effective until the customer receives confirmation from KAMATLUX LIGHTING.
Cancellation After Production Begins
Once production or customization has commenced, cancellation may generally not be accepted.
This includes situations where:
Raw materials have been purchased or allocated.
Customized components have been manufactured.
Production work has commenced.
Product customization has been completed partly or fully.
The product has been prepared for dispatch.
The product has already been dispatched.
Because customized chandeliers are manufactured according to individual customer requirements, they may not be suitable for resale to another customer.
Therefore, cancellation after production has commenced will generally not be permitted, except where specifically agreed in writing or required under applicable law.
Customized & Made-to-Order Products
Customized, bespoke and made-to-order chandeliers are manufactured specifically according to the customer's approved requirements.
Once production begins, such products are generally non-cancellable and may also be non-returnable and non-refundable, subject to the applicable Return & Refund Policy and applicable law.
Customers should finalize all design, dimensions, finish, crystal selection, lighting configuration and other customization requirements before approving the order.
Imported & Specially Sourced Products
Some chandeliers, components or lighting materials may be specially sourced or imported according to customer requirements.
Where an imported or specially sourced product has already been ordered, procured or placed into processing, cancellation may not be possible.
Any cancellation request for such products will be evaluated based on the status of procurement, supplier commitments, import processing and other costs already incurred.
Applicable cancellation terms may also be specified separately in the quotation or invoice.
Order Modifications
Customers who wish to modify an order after confirmation should contact KAMATLUX LIGHTING as soon as possible.
Modification requests may include changes to:
Product dimensions.
Design.
Finish.
Colour.
Crystal type.
Lighting configuration.
Quantity.
Other customization requirements.
Modification requests can only be considered if production has not progressed to a stage where the requested change is impractical.
Once manufacturing has commenced, modifications may not be possible and may result in additional costs or changes to the estimated production and delivery timeline.
Any approved modification must be confirmed by KAMATLUX LIGHTING before it becomes part of the order.
Refunds for Approved Cancellations
Where a cancellation is approved before production begins and a refund is applicable, the refundable amount will be determined after deducting any applicable costs already incurred in connection with the order.
Such deductions may include, where applicable:
Administrative expenses.
Material procurement costs.
Customization or design costs.
Processing charges.
Other non-recoverable expenses directly related to the order.
The applicable refund amount and processing terms will be communicated to the customer after the cancellation request has been reviewed.
Refunds, where approved, will be processed according to the applicable payment and transaction procedures.
Company's Right to Cancel an Order
KAMATLUX LIGHTING PVT LTD reserves the right to cancel an order in exceptional circumstances, including situations such as:
Product pricing or listing errors.
Technical or system errors.
Unavailability of required materials or components.
Manufacturing limitations.
Inability to fulfil the approved specifications.
Unforeseen supply-chain circumstances.
Suspected fraudulent or unauthorized transactions.
Incomplete or inaccurate customer information.
Circumstances beyond the company's reasonable control.
If an order is cancelled by KAMATLUX LIGHTING after payment has been received and a refund is applicable, the eligible amount will be processed according to the applicable payment and refund terms.
Cancellation Due to Customer Change of Mind
Cancellation requests based solely on a change of mind, change in interior design plans, change in project requirements or the customer no longer requiring the product may not be accepted once production or customization has commenced.
Customers should therefore confirm the order only after finalizing their requirements.
Cancellation After Dispatch
Once a product has been dispatched, cancellation will generally not be accepted.
For products already dispatched, customers should refer to the applicable Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy for information regarding delivery, transit damage, returns and other applicable circumstances.
Project & Commercial Orders
Orders for hotels, banquet halls, resorts, restaurants, commercial properties, architectural projects and other large-scale developments may involve multiple customized products and project-specific manufacturing arrangements.
Cancellation or modification of such orders may be subject to additional terms stated in the quotation, purchase order, invoice or written agreement between KAMATLUX LIGHTING and the customer.
Where project-specific terms exist, those terms will govern the applicable cancellation conditions for that order.
Force Majeure
KAMATLUX LIGHTING shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations or inability to fulfil an order resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include, where applicable:
Natural disasters.
Fire or other major incidents.
Government restrictions.
Transportation disruptions.
Strikes or labour disruptions.
Supply-chain interruptions.
Unavailability of essential materials.
Customs or regulatory restrictions.
Severe weather conditions.
Other unforeseen events beyond reasonable control.
Where such circumstances materially affect an order, KAMATLUX LIGHTING will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the customer and determine an appropriate course of action.
Relationship With Return & Refund Policy
This Cancellation Policy should be read together with the Return & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Warranty & After-Sales Support Policy.
Cancellation, return, refund, transit-damage and warranty matters are treated separately according to the circumstances applicable to each order.
Policy Updates
KAMATLUX LIGHTING PVT LTD reserves the right to modify, revise or update this Cancellation Policy from time to time.
The latest version published on the website will apply to future orders, subject to applicable law and any specific terms agreed in writing for an existing order.
