Installation Support Policy
At KAMATLUX LIGHTING PVT LTD, we manufacture and supply premium luxury chandeliers, crystal chandeliers, customized chandeliers and decorative lighting solutions for residential, hospitality, commercial and architectural projects. Our products may require specialized handling and professional installation due to their size, weight, electrical configuration and customized construction.
Unless installation is specifically included in the quotation or invoice, installation services are not included in the product price. This Installation Support Policy explains the responsibilities of KAMATLUX LIGHTING and the customer regarding installation, technical guidance, safety and maintenance.
Installation Services
Installation charges are not included in the product price unless specifically stated in the quotation, invoice or order confirmation.
Customers are responsible for arranging installation through a qualified electrician, lighting installer or suitably experienced professional.
Where installation services are specifically requested, KAMATLUX LIGHTING may provide or arrange installation support depending on:
Project location.
Product type and size.
Installation complexity.
Site conditions.
Availability of qualified installation personnel.
Applicable service charges.
Any installation service arranged separately will be quoted and confirmed independently and will not automatically form part of the standard product price.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the installation site is properly prepared before the product arrives.
The installation site should have:
Adequate and safe ceiling or structural support.
Suitable electrical wiring and power supply.
Appropriate mounting arrangements.
Sufficient installation space.
Safe access for installation personnel.
Any required scaffolding, lifting equipment or access equipment.
Necessary permissions or approvals for installation, where applicable.
Customers should verify that the ceiling or supporting structure is capable of safely supporting the weight of the chandelier before installation begins.
For large or customized chandeliers, customers should coordinate with their architect, contractor, structural engineer or installation professional to ensure that the site is suitable.
Professional Installation Recommendation
Luxury chandeliers and customized lighting fixtures may contain delicate crystal, glass, metal, electrical and structural components.
KAMATLUX LIGHTING strongly recommends that products be installed only by qualified electricians or experienced professional lighting installers.
Improper installation may result in:
Product damage.
Electrical hazards.
Loose or unstable mounting.
Reduced product performance.
Damage to the ceiling or supporting structure.
Personal injury.
Loss or limitation of applicable warranty coverage.
Customers should not attempt complex chandelier installation without appropriate professional knowledge and equipment.
Remote Installation Assistance
Where physical installation is not included, KAMATLUX LIGHTING may provide reasonable remote technical guidance where required.
Depending on the nature of the installation, assistance may be provided through:
Phone calls.
WhatsApp.
Email.
Photographs.
Installation videos.
Technical instructions.
Other suitable communication methods.
Our team may assist the customer's electrician or installation professional with product-related guidance where reasonably possible.
Remote technical assistance does not replace the responsibility of the customer or installation professional to ensure safe and compliant installation.
Installation Inspection
Customers should inspect the delivered product and its packaging before installation begins.
Before commencing installation, customers should verify:
The product has been delivered in the expected quantity.
Major components are present.
The product matches the approved specifications.
There is no apparent transit damage.
Required accessories and components have been received, where applicable.
Any visible damage, missing component or discrepancy should be reported to KAMATLUX LIGHTING promptly and preferably before installation begins.
Products that have already been installed, modified or dismantled may be more difficult to assess for transit-damage claims.
Electrical & Safety Requirements
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all electrical work complies with applicable local electrical safety requirements and building regulations.
The installation should include appropriate:
Electrical wiring.
Voltage supply.
Switches and controls.
Earthing.
Circuit protection.
Mounting and support arrangements.
Electrical connectors and accessories.
The electrical supply should be compatible with the product's specifications.
KAMATLUX LIGHTING shall not generally be responsible for damage, malfunction, accidents or product failure resulting from:
Incorrect electrical connections.
Voltage fluctuations.
Power surges.
Short circuits.
Improper wiring.
Inadequate earthing.
Incorrect installation methods.
Insufficient structural support.
Failure to follow applicable safety requirements.
Ceiling & Structural Support
Chandeliers can vary significantly in size and weight, particularly large custom chandeliers designed for hotels, banquet halls, restaurants, villas and commercial projects.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the ceiling and supporting structure are suitable for the specified chandelier.
Where required, additional structural reinforcement, support frames, mounting plates, anchor systems or other structural arrangements should be completed before installation.
KAMATLUX LIGHTING may provide product-related dimensional or mounting information where available, but responsibility for the structural suitability of the installation site remains with the customer and their appointed professionals.
Large & Customized Chandelier Installation
Large or customized chandeliers may require specialized installation procedures, lifting equipment, multiple installers, scaffolding or other site-specific arrangements.
Such requirements may vary depending on the project.
For hospitality, commercial and architectural projects, installation planning should be completed before the product reaches the site.
Any specialized installation equipment, manpower, scaffolding, lifting arrangements or site preparation not specifically included in the quotation shall generally be the responsibility of the customer.
Maintenance Recommendations
To maintain the appearance and performance of your KAMATLUX LIGHTING chandelier:
Clean the product regularly using suitable non-abrasive materials.
Follow the recommended cleaning and maintenance instructions.
Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaning materials.
Prevent excessive moisture from contacting electrical components.
Handle crystal and glass components carefully.
Switch off and isolate the electrical supply before cleaning or maintenance.
Do not attempt electrical repairs unless performed by a qualified professional.
Only suitable and compatible replacement components should be used when repairs or replacements are required.
Post-Installation Modifications
Customers should not modify, dismantle, rewire or alter the chandelier without appropriate professional assistance.
Unauthorized modifications may affect product safety, performance and warranty eligibility.
Any modification carried out by a third party is undertaken at the customer's responsibility unless specifically authorized by KAMATLUX LIGHTING in writing.
Installation-Related Damage
Damage resulting from improper installation, incorrect handling during installation, unsuitable tools, structural failure, electrical faults, unauthorized modification or negligence is generally not covered under the applicable warranty.
If an installation-related issue occurs, KAMATLUX LIGHTING may provide technical guidance where reasonably possible. Any repair, replacement or service that falls outside the applicable warranty may be chargeable.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, KAMATLUX LIGHTING shall not be responsible for direct or indirect damage, accidents, installation costs, labour charges, property damage, project delays or personal injury resulting from improper installation, unauthorized modification, unsuitable site conditions, inadequate structural support, incorrect electrical connections or failure to follow appropriate safety procedures.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

The latest version published on the website will apply to future orders, subject to applicable law and any specific installation terms agreed in the customer's quotation, invoice or order confirmation.
